Safeguarding Level 1 Child Welfare & Protection in Sport Training (FULLY BOOKED)

VENUE: The Barbican Theatre, Peter Street, Drogheda

TIME: 6pm – 9pm

Louth Local Sports Partnership offers a 3-hour basic awareness workshop for leaders within sports clubs/organisations.

• The workshop will highlight the main principles of the Code of Ethics and look at measures that clubs can take to create and maintain the safest possible environment for sport for young people.
• As well as undertaking child protection training, all clubs are encouraged to adopt child protection policies and procedures as outlined in the Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Children’s Sport.

Participants attending Safeguarding Level 1 Workshop must be over 18 years of age.
Participants can follow on the code of ethics workshop with Safeguarding 2 Club Children’s Officer Training.
