Louth Local Sports Partnership is encouraging members of the community to take part in an upcoming Walk Leader Training opportunity as part of the Walking for All programme.
This free training is aimed at individuals who would like to support people in their local area to become more physically active, build social connections, and enjoy the many health benefits associated with regular walking.
Participants will receive practical guidance on how to plan and lead short, safe, and enjoyable community walks. The session is designed to build confidence and equip attendees with the knowledge and skills required to organise inclusive and accessible walking opportunities within their communities. No prior experience is necessary, making it an ideal starting point for anyone interested in volunteering or promoting physical activity at a local level.
