County Louth is developing a new Volunteering Strategy for 2026-2031 and is inviting volunteers, former volunteers, and organisations that involve volunteers to share their views.

Volunteering plays a vital role in communities across County Louth. From sports clubs and community groups to charities, cultural organisations and local initiatives, volunteers make an invaluable contribution to improving the lives of people across the county. As work begins on the development of the new strategy, community input is essential to ensure that volunteering continues to thrive and evolve to meet future needs.

The strategy will help guide how volunteering is supported, promoted and developed across County Louth over the next five years. Feedback gathered through this survey will help identify opportunities, challenges and priorities for volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations.
