Get Ireland Walking:
- Provides information, advice and guidance about walking
- Signposts people to other agencies/organisations active in the promotion of walking
- Supports the setup and development of walking groups
- Provides free insurance cover for volunteer walk leaders and group coordinators
- Is developing a database of walking groups
Get Ireland Walking exists to maximise the number of people participating in walking for health, wellbeing and fitness.
